This bar and restaurant is tucked away underneath the Aurora International hotel. If you want to dine in luxurious surroundings and cost is no object then you???ve come to the right place. The interior oozes extravagance and style, as does the menu. Once inside it feels as though you???ve been transported to a plush New York restaurant, until you hear someone speak in the local dialect. The a la carte menu can work out quite expensive, but if you???re on a bit of a budget there???s no need to miss out - the early bird menu is slightly more limited but you can enjoy two courses for ???12.50 or three for ???15.50.

I really love this place. The cocktails are the best I've had anywhere, and the atmosphere is cool but not pretentious. It's the staff that make it, the service is great, and the food is reasonably priced for the excellent quality. If you can find this gem it well worth a visit.
We booked a private room for an up-market hen night and that was exactly what we got. We were treated like royalty with cocktails brought out to us quickly and they tasted amazing! The canapes were beautiful and the night was just what we wanted. I would go again and recommend to all!
I went for the first time to Obsidian recently and, although it was quiet, being early evening and mid-week the whole experience was very pleasurable. The food and service were both excellent and it wasn't nearly as expensive as it looked like it was going to be at first glance.As it got later more and more people arrived and the atmosphere warmed, but the service never wavered. I loved the look and feel of the place and the overall ambience made me want to go back there - soon.

Stunning bar! Very chic and a bit 'sex and the city' - cocktails are amazing here!!! Highly reccomended for anyone really, a really good mix of people......not pretentious like some of the other, similar bars in the area (panacea etc). Door staff were really friendly and helpful too, will def be going back.
