A pleasant surprise awaits all who find 5th Avenue. Ironically enough it is on a road called Princess street so don’t go looking for 5th Avenue as we did cos you’ll end up in New York. The club night we went on (a Saturday) was cheap to get in and entrance led down some stairs into a heated bar and dance floor which sat beneath the rest of the club.
Not huge but with an array of alcoves for seating and stools and tables. There was a raised plateau above the main floor of the club and it just seemed to spiral up. The bar was a little expensive but we found it was cost effective to buy cheap bottled beer at only a pound a bottle. Only negative point was how crammed the dancefloor was but it was an amazing night. Great lightshow and excellent student-style music ranging from Heavy House to classic rock, dance rock and Rnb and a few up-to-date pop hits for the girls.
Smashing night, well worth it.

If you like indie music and cheap drinks 5th Avenue is the place to go for a fun filled night. Their frequent foam parties are particularly popular and though it???s been claimed the foam gets your whites whiter, if you???re thinking of going be prepared to get messy. A great deal of thought has been put into the safety of customers on their inebriated journeys home; there is a bus provided which runs along the same route as the 42 to Didsbury that costs just ???1. Free soft drinks are also available for designated drivers when you show a valid NCP Manchester ticket. Discounts on admission can be obtained with a flyer or NUS card.
well for me 5th ave is possible the best night out i could ask for it has a range of music mostly indie and the atmoshphere is incredible. if your not from manchester u shouldnt go in!!! simple as !! the place is cheap and although its grubby and condensated water falls from the ceiling its the only way i would have it!! its friendly and in all the time ive been going i have never once seen a fight in there.... so if you didnt enjoy it u must question yourself was it A. cos ur a small minded person who doesnt appreicate manchester finestor B. ur a jealous dude who wishes you could have our beloved club?

Dingy club. person playing music (so called dj) absolute garbage. Who on earth would wear a woolly hat in summer? Staff very rude and full of self importance! Pay to get in then pay to go out for a ciggie! Don't bother wasting your money.
Music- Good choice of Indie, Rock, Drum & Bass and Dance. Play everything from The Killers to Rage Against the Machine. Drinks- One of the cheapest nights out in Manchester. Bottles start at 80p and there's loads to choose from. Get there before 10pm to get flyers for free drinks.Atmosphere- Good party atmosphere, but it gets extremely packed at about 11pm on nearly every night of the week. Fridays are the best night. Staff- Rude, patronizing and constantly on a power trip. Person in kiosk is also off her trolley.SMOKERS BEWARE! You have to pay 1.00 if you want to go out for a fag.
