The allnighters are the best, tho' there's a new night PMT for the girls that starts on Monday 2nd March with an Ibiza Rocks DJ you can find out when the next ones are on their website, www.42ndstreetnightclub.co.uk There's loads of drinks to choose from for every budget, the prices are a lot cheaper than the ones in other places nearby. Music is good, From Manchester With Love on Thursdays is one of my favourite nights, playing Manchesters best indie, from The Smiths to The Courteeners, with Tuesdays The Best Indie Night Ever, coming a close second.
42's is a great night out! I haven't been disappointed yet and i'm definatley not bored of it either! You dont have to pay everytime you want to leave to have a ciggarette like some places, and the drinks are reasonable too. They play Britpop/Indie music, the people are friendly, and everyone is there just to have a good time!

cool little club, decent music, drinks arent cheap nor are they dear, but if your looking for an indie club that doesnt charge you a quid to go out for a cig, or any money to get in before half ten (5th avenue) then this is where u wanna go.good nite out!
Probably the Best Night club In Manchester. With Exceptionally awesome music (unlike other clubs which play the same songs over and over again every time you seem to step into the place) It also varies from Indie Jingle Jangle to Rock and even pure cheese lol ! Not the cheapest of student bars and the bouncers like any others can be a bit of a gimp at times, although You do expect them to after a hall full of students get lary when Killing In the name of jumps on and beer starts flying about ! a night to remember By all means ! and a quid a shot !
Quite frankly I strongly disagree with you and think you should be ashamed to call yourself manc if you cant respect one of the finest indie clubs in manc history. Yes its grubby and it plays the same music each week but thats wat makes it so brilliant and so mancunian the fact it revelles in the 90s indie scene and isnt afraid to be influenced by an era so powerful. Its a true mancunian landmark and so what if its grubby thats how it should be. Yes the boys wear white tops and skinny jeans with curly hair and the girls wear floral dresses with bands around their heads but so what i'd rather see that than some chavs in trackies and gold chains anyday!!! Mate if your so against it dont go again. 42s amazing. just amazing.!
